Burlington Trip

We celebrated the Davidson family reunion last weekend.  It was great to see everyone.  The reunion also coincided with the Burlington 24th of July celebration and the funeral of Phillip's Grandpa Denny.  It was nice to make it to so many events in one weekend.

When I asked the kids what they liked best about the reunion, they said they enjoyed the rock hunt the most.  Grandpa Denny liked to polish rocks and make jewelry when he was alive; he used to sponsor a rock hunt at the family reunions using the rocks he had tumbled.  The kids also picked up "Dinosaur" bones and fossils.  Bradford thought he had died and gone to heaven.  Bronson surprised me by how into it he was as well.

Grandma Bea had a fishing game at one of the luncheons.  All of the younger grandkids and great grandkids received a personalized bag of toys.  Bradford got a squirt gun; he had a fun time squirting everyone.  Stella got a little red headed barbie in addition to some hair ties and clips.  She has really enjoyed doing the barbie's hair.  Grandma Bea always gives Stella dolls with red hair and books with red headed girls.  It's kind of cute.  Bronson got a truck that makes noise, and he loves it.

Stella had a fun time playing in the water at Winter's Pond.  Janet and Diana are always so great with the kids.
Madison had a lot to say this reunion.  I think the kids enjoyed being able to talk with her more and play with her.
The 24th of July Parade was pretty small this year.  Bronson really wasn't into grabbing candy.  He picked up a few pieces and spent the rest of the parade tightly clutching the candy in his hands.  The other kids rode the Davidson family float which was primarily made by Hannah, I think.  It was definitely one of the best floats in the parade.  Bradford and Stella were a little disappointed they chose to ride the float when they saw all the other cousins with the big bags of candy they had collected from the streets.  I wasn't too upset by the lack of candy :)
I didn't get a lot of pictures from the rest of the activities, but the kids had a great time seeing everyone and participating.

Front Porch Sitting

We have been enjoying some very nice weather here in southern Utah.  I hope it stays nice for Anne's visit in August!  I love sitting on the front porch in the evenings when the kids are in bed; however, we do a fair amount of porch sitting when the kids are awake.

Stella crashed her bike the other day.  You can still see evidence of the scratches on her forehead and nose.
Brad had to be silly in every picture taken of him.
My plants have been loving the cooler and wetter weather.  Bronson has been a very happy kiddo lately.  Almost giddy.  It's been fun to watch him develop some personality.

Splash Pad with Cousins

The morning before Abby left for Washington, we went to the splash pad and river in downtown St. George.  The weather was so beautiful, and the kids had a blast splashing around with cousins.

Bradford met a little friend named Chloe.  They played together just about the whole time we were there.
Bronson was a little leery of the water for quite a while, but he warmed up to it after a bit.

Not sure what was so funny.

2015 Bundy Reunion

We enjoyed beautiful weather at the Bundy Reunion this year.  I couldn't believe how cool and nice it was out there.
Stella and Andee were very excited to play together.

 Stella at the roping contest.

Abby and I in the pregnant lady race.  Abby announced her pregnancy to the rest of the family by joining this race.  Up until this point, no one but our immediate family knew she is expecting.
Clint had a lot of fans out at the reunion.  He was really cute and patient with all the kids.
Brad started a museum with a collection of treasures from the reunion.  He enlisted the help of a lot of second cousins to get the operation going.

 Brad's museum completed.

 Entrance to the museum.
Some of the collection on display.

Brock is a cutie.  He liked eating the rocks.

Phillip had a lot of fun twirling Stella around at the dance.

Birthday Parties

We celebrated a few birthdays on Sunday evening.  We had the party at Katie's house in Enterprise.  It was fun to get together with everyone.  Wesley turned four, Andee is turning three, and Brock is turning one.  We celebrated all of the birthdays before heading out to the Bundy Reunion.

Wesley had a lot of helpers while opening his presents.

Abby's two birthday kids.  Abby announced she is having another baby in January!
