Bradford went to his first day of kindergarten yesterday.  He had been pretty nervous about going to a new school and trying to make new friends, but he loved it.
Brad's kindergarten teacher is Mrs. Fjermestad (pronounced firm-sted).  He thinks she will be great.

Phillip, the kids, and I have loved having our own space to play and work outside.  The kids have really adjusted to the heat, and I find that I haven't been affected by it like I thought I would be.
Phillip has high hopes for this corn.  It came up pretty well, and we hope it will continue to look good.  We also have green beans, cantaloupe, cucumbers, watermelon, garlic, carrots, and beets growing.
The kids have recently discovered they can climb the mulberry tree in our backyard.

First Out of State Visitor

Anne came to visit last week.  We had a lot of fun seeing her.  I am afraid it was a little warm for Anne's preferences, but she was a good sport about everything we did.  I wish I would have taken more pictures.

Anne took us to the performance of Beauty and the Beast at Tuachan.  We met up with Aunt Miriam, Michael, Vanessa, and Olive.  It was fun to see the play together.  The kids really enjoyed the live performance.

Recently, Stella has been playing around the house with a stuffed monkey up her shirt.  She likes to pretend she is pregnant, and she says she is due about the same time I am.
